Jackson Heights – Episode 06!

A tad bit motivating episode with portrayal of daily struggle of the typescript once again. I must say the conversations between the typescript have been written nicely and they make you narrate a bit to their stories at times but other than that, I actually wish we come to a point where the story kick-starts and gives us something very interesting to look forward to.Rizwan decided to suggest to Michelle but just like that she walked away without allocation any thoughts with him. No one really can tell what’s going through Michelle’s mind and for that the element of obscurity in her character that I once referred to has turned into weakness. visibly, the walk off was a transference of strong denunciation but other than that, what made her do that still ruins a secret. Even though Michelle has collective her feelings with Tanya that she takes Rizwan as her friend but I think some actualvalidation would’ve be enough. Why is it that she’s at her best around him but still treat him as a friend? Why is it that so many years have passed and she hasn’t thought of him as someone more than a friend?

Jackson Heights – Episode 06!

Jamshed’s under heaviness on his own because he has recently here in America. From inactive in a store room on the floor to doing the laundry by himself, he’s tasting the life of America and sadly for him, he cannot share his thoughts with his people back home because they know too well how much he was willing to come to America. I really like the character of Asma and I think the artist has done her bit really well. She’s sad & she wants some sort of word from Jamshed because she has pressure on her as well. Let’s see what conclusion Jamshed will take in regard to Asma because right now he’s irritated and a bit too anxious in adapt to the gigantic change in his life.

Finally, we got to know a bit about Salma. She lives with her Tai, who happen to be her MIL as well. noticeably, her MIL is very dominate and likes to see things phenomenon her ways. She’s pretty rooted that’s why she wants Salma to train her daughter Imaan like a typical Pakistani too. Salma certainly knows what her daughter wants and for that she is ready to take a stand to show support to her daughter. Once again, the short conversation between her and Imran Bhatti was done well and it was good to see Imran Bhatti taking care of Salma’s daughter. That whole scene was really cute

Jackson Heights – Episode 06!

I am not sure why but I am in receipt of ticked off with the required I-don’t-care-attitude of Imran Bhatti’s wife Cathy. She’s a dictator and we know it, so can we move ahead and see what else’s in store for us in particular when it comes to Bhatti-Cathy life? I think pretty much everything’s been exposed about the typescript till now so I’m ready to see what brought them to this point in their lives, some background, some past and future stories and some improvement in the plot, please? Seems like some development might be shown in the next episode so, with this hope and based on the previews, I keep on inspection this play thinking we’ll have something or the other that will really draw my concentration but so far, it hasn’t really happened. So, let’s see what happens next and yes, I’d definitely say that I fail to understand why would a eating place owner go to a local laundry booth to do her laundry? As we saw in the initial episodes, she lives in a pretty decent apartment house, so why’s it that she was seen doing her laundry there? Share your thoughts please.

Sadqay Tumhare– Episode 5

Khalil makes sure Fayyaz knows that he is not his match at all. The way he literally bullied Fayyaz into silence was hilarious. Khalil was out to impress Shano and he knew exactly how to go about it. I would give full marks to Mukarram Kaleem for playing the annoyed yet helpless Fayyaz brilliantly. The letter which Khalil wrote to Shano was actually much more than just a love letter; Khalil means business, he wants to know if Shano is with him or not because if she is with him then nothing else matters. He is not going to waste time because he is intelligent enough to know what is coming ahead. When Khalil returns home after meeting Shano he is a changed man, the satisfaction on his face shows that he has found what he was probably not even looking for, like a man who stepped on a hidden treasure when he wasn’t even searching for it. Life has a new meaning for Khalil, he looks forward to Shano’s reply so that he can figure out what he wants to do next.
Sadqay Tumhare – Episode 5
In the last episode we saw Maqsood lecturing Khalil about love and how essential it was to respect the person he loved. Although that conversation was beautifully written but Khalil did not need to hear any of it because being in love has taught him everything he needed to learn…” pyaar se ziada us ki izzat krta hun”, Khalil tells the postman but he is not going to beg his khala khalu to accept his proposal.

Samiya Mumtaz plays the zalim samaj with perfection; what is a good love story without the samaj ki dewar standing in its way! Sadqay Tumhare to me is like a beautiful fairytale; we have a gorgeous leading lady, a handsome hero and the perfect vamp. It is intelligently written because everything is blended well, the romance and the humor. Humaira’s reaction when she meets Khalil and the way she describes to Shano how she recognized him later on was another beautiful aspect of tonight’s episode. Hearing those dialogues was like listening to a perfectly penned down piece of poetry.

Sadqay Tumhare – Episode 5
Adnan Malik and Mahira Khan’s flawless performances along with the sizzling chemistry between the two makes the romance between them a treat to watch. Both of them deliver the romantic dialogues in such a way that they melt your heart and do not sound cheesy at all. Both these actors have brought their characters to life in a way that you can’t help but look forward to their scenes. Each and every scene deserves to be cherished. I have already watched the episode twice and intend to watch it over and over again! I am in love with Shano and Khalil’s love story, every episode of Sadqay Tumhare has delivered till now. The second this drama starts I know that I will be glued to be my television screen for the next one hour. Sadqay Tumhare is very special to me, I haven’t enjoyed a romantic play this much in a long time. A big thanks to the entire team of Sadqay Tumhare for a job very well done.

Chupkay Se Bahar Ajaye_Episode 3 and 4

Saqib’s Dad(Faiq) clearly wanted him to get dedicated soon, because of the “Saira” threat. Mera faisla atal hai, aur aankhon par patti baandh kar rishte tay nahi hote. Saqib didn’t want to give in, ji abbu, mein ne samjha diya hai ammi ko, rishte dosron ki haisiyat aur business dekh kar kiye jate hain. If Faiq’s friend (Shams) hadn’t told him his true intention about making Saqib a ghar-damaad , Faiq would never have arranged to go to Saira’s house for a rishta! Khair issi bahane baat tou bani! But Faiq has decided not to tell his people why he agreed to this rishta.

Chupkay Se Bahar Ajaye_Episode 3 and 4

Shafaq’s mother finds her dost ka beta (Farooq) and she deem him fit for her daughter.Shafaq’s self-pity countinues. Mein khud ko achi nahi lagti tou doosron ko kya mere gi?Her mother boosts her assurance. Ab dunya ko tumhe meri nazron se dekhna pare ga. And the wait for the arrival of Mr.great starts. The scene connecting Shafaq and her maid was not indispensable. Why is it that girls are always taught that the only good thing that can happen to them is wedding? Is self-confidence only linked with marriage? I am not at all denying the value of the sacred affiliation that is marriage, but this is the 21st century and about time that girls in dramas are shown confident without their daydream man.

At the first gathering of Shafaq and Farooq Saira couldn’t keep her mouth closed. She had all the things in the world to talk to him about and he was concerned to her.  The moment Saira left the room, he said it all aloud. Mujhe aisi larkiyan buhat pasand hain, aap Saira se mere rishte ki baat karein please. Everything has been fixed for Saira but the new conditions will unquestionably send Shafaq into further hopelessness. But what I like about her and Saira’s comradeship is that both of them are never jealous of each other.

Chupkay Se Bahar Ajaye_Episode 3 and 4

Saira was over the moon about her and Saqib’s meeting and she couldn’t stop full of yourself. Dekha ammi, khuwab dekha tab hi poora hua na! Most of episode 4 was all about mangni ki tayyariyan and then the meeting and then the BIG party after the meeting. Faiq was offered  a business from a Mr.Gulzar_ a big entrepreneur. He was relieved that he didn’t have to work with Shams anymore. Will this enterprise have an important role in the future?
The game scene on the merriment day was fun to watch. It was funny how Saqib said “I love you” to Shafaq and then after taking the blindfold off, said “I love you” to Saira, while sensation guilty. The last scene came as a shock. Saqib is now all alone in the world. Will he be able to pull through from this shock? Will he run his father’s business fruitfully or will he lose the whole thing? The direction and making quality of CSBA is top-notch. I love all the typeset and the actors have done a stunning job.

Jackson Heights– Episode 08!

Ohkay so mercifully things are diminishing into outlook. I think the pace of the play is picking up and let’s see where the story will take us. I am glad that this episode in meticulous had smaller and a lot of scenes which made the episode a bit motivating and event. Even though the drama makers have taken a lot of time in unwind the story and we still are looking forward to see what’s in store for us, I feel the cast should be given the due credit for enact their roles intensely. I must say even though we haven’t seen Ali Kazmi in this drama before, but he made his company felt in those limited scenes too which is worthy because it seems like he’s so much into his character like each one else (excluding MarinaKhan).

Jackson Heights – Episode 08!

So, now we know where Salma’s husband Sikandar (Ali Kazmi) was. apparently we don’t know the reason and the whole story following but he was helping his time in prison while Salma was working hard to take care of his mother and his daughter that too on his behalf. Now we know that Salma got wedded to Sikandar when Imaan was just 3 y/o and she has been in this relative for like 12 years but I didn’t really get the wishful philosophy that Salma shared with Aliya and I couldn’t really connect to the gleam of hope that Salma spoke about that may be Sikandar has misrepresented because she found him calm this time roughly. I guess the span of 12 years is enough to know a person in and out so what really made Salma say that? noticeably for now Sikandar has enclosed himself but I think it won’t take him too long to flip to his authentic self as his mother started doing what she was waiting for and that was to common sense feed Sikandar against Imaan and Salma. Even though Sikandar is trying to be calm and composed but I think it’s just a facade that he’s carrying which he will let go of pretty soon.

Is it just me or Jamshed’s unemployment is becoming worrisome? Yes, we know that he’s trying his luck but why is he always looking for short cuts? He depended on his Mamu and now he is depending on his relation to help him out? I think Jamshed should’ve unstated by now that when his Uncle couldn’t help him, why would a distant relative do that? I must say even though the whole issue was cyclical, I giggle a lot at Jamshed’s fight and the things his next of kin said to him in return. To add more to his woes, he got to know that Nadir has resolute to get married to Asma and I think Nadir made the right decision because Asma’s a very decent girl and she definitely deserve better. I must say the actress who has play the role of Asma has been brilliant because no matter how short her scene are, she always make me feel for her a lot.

Jackson Heights – Episode 08!

Oh yes, once again, Bhatti found the chance to spend some time with Salma and they both are unaware of the fact that mechanically they have ongoing to enjoy each other’s companionship. Bhatti was honest about why he wants to take care of Salma as he really yearn to have a desi friend but Salma, no matter how much she resists, always ends up expenditure some time with him because he makes her laugh and they both share a certain wavelength which can’t be describe. noticeably, even if they’d try to give some analysis for it, they won’t be able to come up with a decent enlightenment as to why they share a discussion over a tan or why Bhatti always grabs an occasion he gets to have a heart-to-heart talk with Salma, but I guess these worthless meeting and candid conversation will help them both develop an thoughtful over the time. I must say my favourite part of the whole episode are the scene of Bhatti and Salma because they fully look like they’re in need of a sustain system and they need someone to be ears to their deepest feelings. it seems that, Salma has a lot to hide in assessment to Bhatti but it’s just a matter of time when they’ll end up discuss everything with each other I suppose.
I am glad that this episode had very limited in fact less central scenes of Michelle/Marina Khan. I think Jamshed will end up working at her eating place and now when he knows that Asma’s not a part of his life any longer, he’ll perceptibly get lovesick with her. Let’s see what’s yet to come. I am wonder that Salma suspect Kashif for always maintenance an eye on her; he still hasn’t found out that she has been expenses some time with Bhatti lately? and oh yes, I had a good laugh at Bhatti’s comment on Aliya and her English, it was funny. :) Share your thoughts please.

Bashar Momin– The End!

Ohkay, so fair adequate. Let me just say this drama had a fairly well-mannered ending which I wasn’t expecting at all. I will positively praise the bits that deserve to be praised. I think the development that they showed in these last 3 episodes were what we all were look for. I’d once again say that this drama had a lot of likely but may be the gratuitous stretching till 30+ episodes did the trick in losing the plot and pace of the drama. I think ever since the drama begin, if they had revolve the plot around Bashar Momin, his personality, his surroundings, his feelings and his story, this drama definitely would’ve garner a lot more fans. I think I’d definitely blame the playwright and the director for trailing the track and wandering the focus from chief aspects to the futile ones by giving a lot more treatment to and wasting so many episodes on the at the bottom of characters than needed.

Bashar Momin – The End!

Like we all discuss, Bashar was too softy of a don. I think in one of my review I did envisage that Rudaba will change him, which was apparent as he was like a lost soul that needed some love, awareness and management but the way they reach to this point wasn’t true to life at all. I really wish they hadn’t hooked so low to unleash such dark and diabolic side of Bashar because now when he rebound from it, I had a hard time feeling for him as much as I wanted to. perceptibly, Bashar fell weak and all the negativity really fraught him, which he couldn’t cope up with, that’s why he decisive he didn’t want all this in his life. Saira and Tayyaba always resonate the negativity to keep him going but now when Rudaba was uncovered to all this, Bashar found out that she is a diverse being who couldn’t bear all that and this is what made him apologize for doing everything that he ever did to her, in a fit of hatred and anguish. I know it would sound unexpected but I kind of enjoy the scenes between Bashar and Rudaba, I think this is how a love story should be like, less yell and more talking. Bashar in reality sought after to make up for the things Rudaba had to face because of him & it was good to see him being apologetic continually.I think the sudden intervention of media and police wasn’t believable once again. visibly, they had to show that Bashar being a don was always at a risk of losing his freedom and life but I think we were never given any reason to know what Bashar did and what level of crime he was caught up in, that’s why it never really made any mental power. I so wish they had paying awareness more on his proficient life rather than the not public lives, that too of his family, so that we could’ve found the topical turn of events a tad bit exciting.

To see Buland again yearning for Rudaba wasn’t comforting at all. I mean how much of a self-respect-less can a man be? Did he really think that Rudaba would still be so in love with him to leave Bashar for such a cowardly man like him? I think the director and we all could’ve done without him because he was futile even now just like he was of no use ever since the drama began.I think Saira got the shut up call rightly so and just when she desirable some. Bashar said it loud and clear that nothing can part him and Rudaba, which was fine because the things later Adil said to her made intellect as well. She has been a very self-absorbed and rigid person who never gave importance to anyone, but I think it was about time that she learnt a few instruction of life too.

Bashar Momin – The End!

So, everyone found a finish. Rudaba earned Bashar’s love. Saira academic how to mind her own industry. Bashar decided to start afresh and Buland finally let go of his one-sided love for Rudaba. The ending was fair I judge but I’d still say that this drama had a lot of potential if only it was tackled appropriately. I so wish they hadn’t gone for such an OTT come near in executing this drama. I am sure if they had paying attention more on the quality of script and the theater and hadn’t spent time in empty angles and larger-than-life exterior of everything, they might’ve given out a fairly decent play with a bit of good enough filmy touch to it. I also feel that they should’ve invest more time on the central character and should’ve given him the required coverage to let us know why the drama was named Bashar Momin, some story starting from his childhood to his harassed days and some showcasing of how he got to such a point that made him such a ruthless yet triumphant don, I believe would’ve suffice. I think if they had wrap the drama within 20-22 episodes, it would’ve been a lot more appealing because in between, the drama and its story definitely lost the track as Adil, Saira, Tayyaba and Buland conquered the whole story while Bashar only seem to be that individual who was nurture to their issue like a head of the relatives without having a life of his own. I so wish they had poised the coverage of the supporting and the main characters to make a balanced and appealing drama. I must say the only person who did justice to his disposition in terms of acting was Faysal Qureshi and I think he certainly deserves to be official for this. Share your say please.

Chupkay se Bahar Ajaye_ Episode 5

The scene subsequent the death of Saqib’s parents were short and deliver. They were not prolonged needlessly with of no use dialogues and that’s why I could connect to the typeset in particular Saqib.

Saqib lost his parents and now the only family he has left is his khala’s and that is why he asked her to stay at his house. The scene connecting the two where he hug her and asked her to stay was really poignant.I hate Saira, but I have never hated her till now. She has dreams and all and sundry is allowed to dream. It’s just her thirst for acquire money with a shortcut which bothers me. It’s okay to dream but  using people who love you,  to fulfill your dream is wrong and that’s faithfully what Saira is doing with Saqib. She does not love him, she loves his money. Instead of being grateful for a consent like Saqib, she is busy opinion about what she will do with his money. She didn’t even bother to console him!Saira’s brother-in-law decisive that Saira and Saqib should get conjugal now. the lot is in Saira’s favour for now. On the other hand, Shafaq’s life is the same as before. What came as a shock was that she is at death’s door. Once again, Rahma Ali and Ismat Zaidi overwhelmed me. Not only their acting, but their chemistry as mother-daughter is uplifting.  Shafaq’s mother has strong-willed to fight for her daughter’s life with all her money and wealth.

Chupkay se Bahar Ajaye_ Episode 5

This time, we weren’t shown the dream which Shafaq told her mother about. That would have been a pretty cool disgust scene in the otherwise poignant episode. I don’t know why such scene are cut  down and just narrate. This happen in “Shab-e-Zindagi” (Sumbhul Iqbal and Agha Ali starrer). Agha Ali went into Afghanistan by illegal means and was shot by the Afghan Army at the margin. That scene would have stirred interest in the or else boring drama but it wasn’t incorporated and simply narrate.

From what I have silent is that Shafaq was being chase by a man with a dagger and she ran off into a dark place.

Chupkay se Bahar Ajaye_ Episode 5

She started sinking into a quicksand and then another man saved her. Shafaq came to meet Saira at Saqib’s house and had a small discussion with Saqib. After that, it was pretty palpable that she fell for him. The difficulty is, why? Why would Shafaq fall for Saqib? She is not a girl who morals looks and money isn’t of any worth to her.
